Gadrooned Oval Marble Basin with Lug Handles

An oval marble vessel basin roughly 20 inches across, its lower body carved with a row of fluted gadroon lobes and flanked by two projecting carved lug handles. The grey-white stone is mottled with golden mineral patina, and the deep rounded well is finished smooth against the sculpted exterior.
